Will the people at Gamestop update my Minecraft disk?

If I take my Xbox 360 Minecraft disk to Gamestop, will they update it for me? I don't have xbox live, and i can't afford to by an "adapter" (or whatever). When I bought the game, the pictures on the case showed the newest version, so I figured it WAS the newest version, but it wasn't. Would they (the people at Gamestop) be able to update the game (or the disk) for me? And if so, how much would it cost?

No. They don't press new disks every time there's an update. They expect people to update their own games. If you don't play online, then you won't need to update, but if you're online, you'll have to.

You don't have to be XBox Live Gold to get the updates, if you have an xbox account, you have an xbox live account, it's just the free one.

So, this question sounds weird. If you're being asked to update, you have internet access, so why not just download the update.

If you didn't have internet, your system wouldn't know there was updates, so would let you play the version on-disk without any problems.
