My minecraft isn't working? Try to download again?

It's a brand new cd for minecraft Xbox edition. I had it up and playing I made a new world. Then my friend signed in while I was still in the game, and then pressed "play minecraft" then it started the game up again but stopped because there was an error. It says redownload again. I've tried everything but it just keeps saying that?
