I got Minecraft windows 10 edition, then it asks me to sign in to xbox live, I don't have an xbox or xbox live. I press connect and signs me in to my Microsoft account. As much as I have been told, xbox live is $50 a month. I don't wanna do that but then again, its my Microsoft account. I don't know if its safe to use. Cause I don't wanna end up having to pay $50 a month for xbox live.

XBox Live Gold is $60 a year. I don't think that you need Gold in order to play this game (that's for playing online with a 360 or XBox One).
You can get a free XBox Live (previously known as Silver, now just Free, I think) from xbox.com That's what they want you to log in with.
