I'm trying to light tnt on minecraft. For xbox 360 it just disappears

You have the "TNT blows up" button unchecked.
Go to settings and recheck it.

When you make a game you have to go to more options and than make sure to turn on the TNT explodes button and if that doesn't work it's glitch inventor there's something wrong with your system or actual game disc
