So i was wondering… Can i transfer a world from my xbox using a usb and edit it on my computer (using MCedit), then transfer it back to my xbox? If not, do you have any other ideas about how to edit xbox Minecraft worlds?

No, the engine for the Xbox game is hard wired for the Xbox. If it wasn't, Mojang would already have released Minecraft for many systems and not have had to get 4J studios in for help on the coding. If you really want to mod your Minecraft you would have to start taking your Xbox apart (I'm assuming from the question that you aren't quite at the skill level to begin that yet, I certainly am not and I built my Xbox remote)!
