Does Minecraft on Xbox 360 update like the PC version with new items, biomes, etc? Or where it is now is where it will stay?

It shall update if the company launches a new update for the xbox version of the game

The xbox version does get updates from time to time. Maybe not as often as pc, but new things do get added. For example the Forest biome was added in an update.
The pc version is always ahead of the console versions, but things added on that do eventually come to console. Maybe not everything but I guess it will also probably come down to what can be added.
