Can you play with random people on minecraft for Xbox?

I'm new to the whole minecraft world, and wanted to know if I could play with random people. Does anyone know If I can?

Nope. Only your friends sadly. I do hope they allow you to play with random people sometime though.

I don't know what you really mean by that, but you can play with different people, either your friends, or random people by joining either a private, or public server.
