1 Game 2 consoles help! (xbox 360)?

Okay so my friend has MineCraft the xbox360 edition, and i don't, like i've played it over his house with my gamertag, and was just curious is it possible for me to like take a copy of his minecraft, on his xbox, then comeback to my house and download that copy onto my xbox360? And so if this is possible, and is legal? How would you do this, a step by step would be nice. Lol thank you!
