It's specs are i7 2640M 2.8GHZ 500GB 8GB, and it has NVIDIA Vs4200 and the i7 is second generation. Would it be capable of playing low graphics games such as Minecraft, Spore, Europa Universalis 4 and Team Fortress 2?
Would a Dell Latitude E6520 be capable of light gaming?

It would likely be enough for these games though you may have to lower the screen resolution or the graphics settings in game

Solitaire, chess, minesweeper should be okay. Beyond that, doubtful.

Well sure! I7 is one of the fastest processors out there. Even though your is only 2nd Gen, it doesn't make it that bad. See:
it is at the middle of the High-Mid Range list, higher than some newer i5's. Add to that the Nvidia graphics, and you got a winning combo!
