Will my iMac run Garrysmod or Minecraft without any lag? Or hardly any?

Added (1). listen i know Macs aren't exactly the best option for gaming but i have no other choice. I just wanna know if i can get a buttery smooth 60FPS. System specs:
3.2GHz quadcore intel core i5 with 6MB L3 cache
8GB of 1600MHz DDR3 SDRAM
1TB 7200-RPM hard drive

It depends on the condition of the computer and its specs. I can run both of the games fine with little to no lag. However, if the computer is a little older, worn down and specs arent great, you might find yourself lagging a bit.

If you're talking about these two specific games than i think you would run them smoothly but it won't handle games like AC or BF4
