Will cats protection my home from creepers in minecraft?

The Ocelots (Cats) will defend your house from creepers. When a creeper enters their vicinity, the ocelot will exit the house (Only if there are wooden doors or an opening) and chase the creeper away by attacking it. The Creeper will not explode when attacked by an Ocelot and will instead run.
