My Minecraft has been lagging very badly, any world that I make I will be getting 0-4 fps at max. I have a windows 8 operating system and all of my other games run fine, only Minecraft has any problems.

All Minecraft worlds take a bit to render the entire world you created. Normally it takes about 5-10 minutes for the world to completely render, depending on your visual settings in-game (Also take texture packs into accountability)
Other than that, might have a bad graphics card.
