Why Do My Minecraft Texture Pack Look Like This?

I Have Tried Like Four Other Packs And They Have All Looked Like This And I Can't Figure It Out. Can Someone Please Help Me.

The Picture Is Taken With The John Smith Pack. All Of The Packs Look Blocky And Weird. Added (2). The Picture May Not Look Bad But In The Actual Game It Looks Terrible. Added (3). I Figured It Out. It Was The Smooth Lighting.
