I can double tap to fly, but when I try to double tap to stop flying it won't work. I had to get a new keyboard and I got an insignia keyboard. How can I fix this?

Maybe your game is lagging. It happens to me sometimes. Close all other windows and see if it works, if it doesn't work, move above the place you want to land on and hold down shift until you hit and automatically stop flying if you touch the ground. Shift makes you go lower
