Whta kinds of things are needed for Minecraft?

Added (1). So my parents will be buying me a a new PC this summer. The only reason why I wanted to buy a PC is because I really want to play Minecraft. So I needed to know what kind of computer is good for minecraft and other games at a $400 budget. Plus what kind of windows does minecraft work on well. Please, it would be great if you were to help. I'm not all that in, in making a PC, i wanted to buy one so yeah, what kind of PC is good for minecraft and what Windows would i need?

Just a computer, any computer made with in the last few years is capable of playing it.
Or you can get it on x box, playstation, iPad, android, in fact most things.
