When will Minecraft 1.8 be released?

Minecraft are usually updated when the developers feel they are ready to introduce their users/players to the new update, this requires finding bugs to fix in the current versions and working on new content for the upcoming one. This process make take a while, so you, the player, can have the best gameplay experience when it does arrive. Nobody knows the date of the minecraft 1.8 release. But we sure do look forward to it!

There's no way to know. 1.8 will be released when the features that make it 1.8 are complete and its gone through a few rounds of bug testing.

Nobody actually knows… But you can play the newest snapshots. Its something like a prototype of 1.8 but its a little buggy sometimes and i don't think you can enter servers but there are a couple of new features like the slime block (a trampoline). But if you want to know its probably in between march to july. It shouldn't be a long time before mojang releases the new update.
