I have the mac launcher, and whenever I press play, it loads the loading bar, disappears as if it was going to display the game, ad then just goes back to the launcher. I've tried re-downloading it, but that didn't work, and no one else has had this problem. (at least that I can find.) Please help?
When I try to play minecraft, it goes to load but then goes back to the launcher?

I have had this problem for a while and did not know how to fix it. I used a mod that turned out to be the wrong game mode and required forge. If you are using mods make sure it is the correct game mode or use forge. This should only happen if you have added something to the game.

That should work unless your pc can't run minecraft
