What should I do if someone online tells me to call the police?

I was wondering (since I'm alone at home), should I call the police if someone online tells me to?

Ok here's an example:

I'm playing a game (Minecraft or league, whatever it be) and someone shouts in all caps

"Help GUYS WITH GUN AT HOUSE CALL 911 *address of house*"

If someone does that, do I call the police? I mean, someone just yelled in caps to call the police. Even if it was a troll (someone who is lying) it's better safe than sorry right?

But would the police just dismiss me as a kid prank calling? Do they contact the police near the person who called for help? What should I do in that situation?

If someone has the time to text through a game to ask for help, they can call 911 themselves. How many gamers have their phone more than a foot from them when they are playing?
