What graphics card would be good for basic games?

What graphics card would be good for basic games such as Minecraft and Simcity 5? Would a GTX 660 be good enough?

Graphics card wise, yes that would be good enough. Problem is minecraft is a memory hog, my brother played it for a while and it sucked up a ton of resources. So have fun tho.

GTX 660 would max out Minecraft and Simcity 5 with really high FPS.

Something like the HD 7770 is still a really good graphics card, without the hefty price
