Weird minecraft circly graphics?

I tried opening minecraft on terminal on linux and the graphics went all circly.

Not much to go on here. Does it work fine if you open it without terminal? Is that picture an example? That picture looks fine to me, so it may be your computer. Those graphics on the picture look like my in game graphics when I play. Where is the "circly" part you are talking about?
