Minecraft PE 0.16.0 Skin Change Won't Work?

Well just when the new update came out I wanted too change my skin so I clicked on the button with an cloth hanger image and my game will just crash. I try to resolve the problem by uninstalling the game and installing it again but it won't work. Please it anyone knows who to fix this quite common problem it will be much appreciated. ~Matthew

-I'm having serious trouble placing water where I want to
-Items in my item frame disappear when I touch them
-Also noticed glass sounds different when you break it.

I don't know what to say. Wait for the next update I guess:/ Add a cell.
