I'm trying to play minecraft with my friend over Hamachi. He's over at his house, and I'm at my house. He connects to my Hamachi and I give him the ip of the hamachi server (which is also set in server properties). Even though the ip is correct, he can't connect to my server. It always says "Failed to connect" and "No further information". The server is online, everything is as it shows in all the instruction videos, but still, nothing. Can someone please help me with this, I've been at it for 3 days now and I'm really getting tired of this. Please, what are we doing wrong?!
Why isn't Hamachi working for Minecraft?
It's really stupid how so many people don't know how to connect on minecraft, and it's impossible to find out yourself really.
Connecting by hamachi is pointless, it works, but can be unsafe, but you can't make a new server, it's actually really simple to connect to your friends.
Simply give them your IP address, tell them to put it in the direct connect it should look something like this '00.000.000:'. Where the ':' is they will put in your server number which you get by making a single player world and opening up to LAN, then it should say something like "server made in port 00000" or something along them lines, then you give them 5 numbers to your friend, they put it into your IP address and then they connect to your world.
So in the end you will have something like "45.765.347:53271" all the numbers prior to the ':' being your IP address and the ones after being your server port number.
