Why does my minecraft server have [Factions-spawn]< in front of players chat names?

Okay my friend mad a server and we where fixing all he bugs and everything he might have got a plugin i really don't know that inputted the "[factions-spawn]<" in front of every players name for some reason but I'm hoping that somebody has had similar problems and can help me fix this soon.
