What is wrong with my router?

I'm trying to set up a Minecraft server and I'm having some problems. The server itself runs fine its the port forwarding thats the problem. When I enter in all the information into the virtual servers tab and hit apply, it works for around 5 minutes. Then it will stop and I won't be able to get on the server. All I have to do to get this to work is hit apply on the settings again. I have already tried resetting to factory settings, and disabling the WAN Ping blocker. I have a Belkin router with the model number of F5D8236-4 v2.

I used to have this problem. All I did to fix it was change the port that the minecraft server was using. This might have just been luck though, so don't get your hopes up if you try this
