Skype just now started to slow down my internet?

I like to play minecraft with friends. For months, my internet never slowed down while using skype. But in the last few days, when i skype, my ping to the servers go way up, and it is almost impossible to play. Why has it started to do this? Any help to fix it?

Hmm, first of all, try calling your company who services you with the internet, and ask them if anything is going on.

But it also could be if someone new came in to the block they could be causing it, all the internet comes off one line, and if someone else is taking more than everybody else then other people could be affected, like you.
