Cracked versions of minecraft can't connect to servers, that's why people buy the official version of minecraft, for the servers.
The only thing that the cracked version can do is single player.

I don't think that's the problem could cause the pirated Minecraft, because my cousin is playing Minecraft online and have no problem's, I would say that it has something to do with version's of your Minecraft. Or you can create a local server to play or connect to the server, but NOT TO ORIGINAL'S SERVER'S.
