Minecraft Server (uTorrent)?

I've been having trouble getting my friends to join my server. I gave them all the ips that i thought that would work. I can join fine but they can't. SOMEONE Please Help ME.

You need to open the port on your router to allow other people inside your network. Its required for any kind of server.

But know by opening these ports, it creates a BIG hole in your network security for someone outside your network to connect to.
So be aware of the risks when doing things like this.
