So, one day I tried opening my minecraft_server.1.8.3.exe and for some reason it would run for a second and then shut down. The server had been working fine until that day. The eula is set to true and I don't remember any changes that could've caused it. I've tried using the lastest version (1.8.8) but with the same outcome. Please let me know if there's more information I need to post.

I would recommend going into your computer computers system files at:
c:\users\*YOUR USERNAME*\appdataoaming
And then deleting the folder called ".minecraft" try loading minecraft again so it will download it again to that location. It should work find after that.
