So I had an idea for a minecraft server that I think would be pretty fun. It's nothing new or anything, just a semi vinilla towny survival server. The world would be governed by 4 major cities that would each be equidistant from the spawn (connected by rail) with everything between as wilderness with no rules (although towns may sprout up). We would start the server on creative to start building the cities (to give them a great headstart to assure many people go to them), but we would try to keep them very simple. The only pluggins would likely be towny and some type of shop one (but no currency, we stay as barter) we would try to keep everything fairly realistic and not ridiculous (go on any big server and look how crazy they look), so it's fine if you are a beginer (I'm fairly new too). I was looking for people interested in starting up the server with me and becoming mayor of a city (or like second in command if we get more than 4 people), any takers?

I have to say it would be fun. Thats something i've been trying to do on xbox version for a while but nobody is interested. I want a great computer and minecraft to play on it but i don't have the money for the multiplayer or whatever the money is needed for. If i did have it though you would be able to count me in. I would love to play with someone on a server based around that. If you play xbox360 look me up, xERGxZEROx, and let me know if i was any help. My currency is leather and coal, considering they arent like wood or planks which you almost have access to instantly, and i think a form of currency would be good to employ after an extent of time has passed which i intend to do on 360 minecraft after a while. What is the servers name id love to play
So I have been planning a Minecraft Server for a while but have not been able to host. I could co-own and show you all of the documents that I had planned. I would add a few rules such as "No stealing from others"
I have also developed a few plugins for MC and know some decent ones that I have used a lot.
Another cool thing to do is split the world/add more worlds with teleports near spawn. If you had a spawn world, old fashioned world, modern world, nether, end, (any other world here). This would allow you to keep lag to a minimum if you don't have a decent server. I have had quite a bit of server building + server admining experience so could help with that.
