So i want to build a server that can run minecraft really well with at least 20 of my friends. Where do i start what are some good places to learn how to build one? I will also want to use this for other games that need servers so can you help me get started? I'm doing this mainly to learn so give me as much information as you want!

Do it your self is you have a really good computer but i wouldn't recommend it because you have to port forward which is a hassle and you have to turn off your firewall just buy one its cheap or get your spare computer and make a hamachi server… If you want to buy one use these guys http://nitrous-networks.com/ i host a server for minecraft with nitrous networks.
