I can't connect to any Minecraft servers and have no idea why?

I've tried turning off my firewall, updating Java, etc. I know it's not my computer, because if I turn on a VPN the servers show up and I'm able to connect. But if I do not have a VPN on, the servers won't be able to connect at all.

If I go onto a friends internet, I can connect to Minecraft servers just fine.

Added (1). I'm logged into a premium account. All the information is correct.

Is there anyway this can be fixed?

Added (2). I fixed it! All I did was hardrest my router.

Are you logged into a premium minecraft account?
On the launcher you should see a edit profile button. Make sure your account info is correct.

It's most likely your internet if your friends can connect on theirs.
