How to portforward a Minecraft Server without a router username/password?

I have spent a lot of time on my server. When I try to port forward it, I can't get the username/password right. I have reset my router to factory settings and entered the default username/password and it still doesn't work. I have an axesstel MV440 router. Is there a program or something that can port forward the server without the password? If there isn't a program, how do I get my username/password?

If you are sure about port forwarding, make sure you have a firewall of some sort (hardware, not just Windows Firewall or antivirus). By opening ports on a router, hackers can easily gain access to your home network and the computers on it (and All the passwords, even the banking ones!) If you want to play Minecraft with just a few friends, have them download LogMeIn Hamachi and create a Virtual Private Network, which is safe and protected. If you do want a public server, I would recommend renting a server from sites like FragNet. They will help you set it up and you can upload all your files (plus its safe). Just make sure you don't go with a scam site!

If you do want to get to the admin panel on your router, the key is probably next to the WPA/WPA2 key on the bottom of your router. From there there should be a tab called Port Forwarding/Triggering or Virtual Servers, depending on your router's manufacturer.

If you need help getting to this panel, try typing routerlogin.net, 192.168.1.1, or 192.168.2.1 into your browsers address bar.

If none of the above works, call customer support.
