I got the one from minecraft.net and I don't have op perms so I go into the ops document and here's what it looks like:

Just those two things and I tried a bunch of different ways to write my name i nthere but I can't figure out how. Can someone pelase help?
This is Minecraft 1.7.10
When the server is running and you have entered the session at least once, in the server console type "op yourusername" (remove the quotation marks, forward slash is not required in the server console).
You won't be able to op yourself in the ops.txt file unless you know your player ID. Opping yourself via server console will store your player ID to the ops.txt file, so it's relatively easy and hassle-free.
