How to find out IP's on a Minecraft server?

I watched a video telling you how to get ips people on a minecraft server and in cmd i did tracert <the server ip> and then it listed some ips, and I was confused. How do I know which player was connected to which ip? So, to shorten this question, how do I connect the player who is online on the server to the ip found on cmd when the tracert command was done.

But you don't need to do that to host a minecraft server. You can use Hamachi or Tunggle to allow people to join you. Just google How to host a minecraft server with Hamachi.

If you can't figure out these two ways. Give up.
