How to add a minecraft Multiplayer server?

How do I add a miner=craft multiplayer server that other pople can join, without port-forwarding or using the rooter? Is there a way?

It's quite a complicated thing to do (I've tried many times) and the easiest way is to simply contact a hosting company. Although you can use Hamachi to host a local server for friends.

You use a hosting company to host the server for you. I'm using Prominecrafthost which are amazing, I host everything from Vanilla, Bukkit and Feed The Beast.
