I just recently got into Minecraft for the pc and I was wondering how servers works exactly (I don't know anything about servers).
If you install a modpack(Like Feed The Beast) on a server do you still need it on the computer youre playing on or does it just somehow magically work?
You need it on the computer. I think when you join it without the mod, it says "You don't have FTB installed" or something like that.
