Kinda tired of playing alone, but so far whenever I find a mutiplayer game it's all about being the best, social interaction, or has a small amount of people. I want to work together with other people to achieve things. I want to feel like everyone matters, that it's a matter of skill and abilities rather then numbers.
A few games I've tried
WOW: Based around number of people, you need x amount of DPS, a few healers, and a couple tanks. Or it's a 10v10 battle to the death. It doesn't matter who those people are, as long as they have good gear. You have to optimise yourself and use specific attacks in a specific order, or you can't play with them.
TF2: Everyone seems to be focused on personal glory rather then objectives, and apparently I'm not allowed to be in the places that actually have teamwork since everyone there seems to be an elitist donkey.
Portal 2: Too short
L4D2: I felt like the teamwork was forced. You are only required to help people because the game mechanics force you to. Beyond that, more personal glory.
Minecraft: On big servers it's been all about PVP, building the best house, running off on your own to do stuff, or furthering your youtube channel. I feel like a number, and that I'm unwelcome, or unnoticed. Small servers I feel like I can relax, help people and what not, but they either die, escalate into large servers where I'm forgotten, or switch off into something else.
