So I recently made a new Minecraft server with Hamachi. I have done it all right, everyone can join and everything. But i can't make myself OP, i have added my name to the OP list in the server folder, but i don't have access to any commands. Someone tell me what to do?
Added (1). What do you mean by restart the server? Just simply turn it on and off? I did that.
Try to do in in the server conceal and double check your username is speed right caps and all that stuff if that does not work your server is bugged
So you added your minecraft name to ops.txt file (which is a list) and restarted the server? Is it a plain minecraft server or something with mods or plugins (anything with other permissions)? For example the following should switch you to creative mode, or 0 (zero) to go back to survival:
/gamemode 1
You need to learn a little more about running a server and using the terminal / command line if you can't figure that out. I recommend reading up on it some more and good luck.
