I recently downloaded Minecraft PS3 Edition and it installed but it is no longer in my "game" section. Does anyone know where it could have gone?

Maybe because it's a new addition to the PS3, it's not yet loaded onto your console. My friend had the same problem, and within a matter of a couple of days it appeared. Try restarting the console or doing a system update.
But it could also be in another folder/section. Check in every section and folder within the section and you could find it. If not follow the previous steps.

My download went to the Game section of the XMB! Try re-downloading it!
