I haven't played a Western Rpg before but I don't like long loading or grinding. It also can't be too inappropriate.
Should I buy Minecraft or Skyrim for Ps3?
Definitely get Skyrim!
I wouldn't say Skyrim really has grinding, but there are a bunch of skills to level up. A couple will feel a little like grinding, but those aren't necessary skills (Alchemy, Enchanting…). You'll most likely want to start as that guy in full heavy armor running in guns blazing, or the one who's slinking in the shadows with a bow. I've never actually ran a mage in a TES game, but it looks like a lot of fun. In Minecraft you WILL experience grinding, that is gathering large amounts of materials to complete your ambitious projects, spending plenty of time meticulously placing your blocks, and raging when you lose all of your stuff.
I guarantee Skyrim will be MUCH more satisfying. Also, if you were to get it on PC, you could mod the hell out of it! It's still a fantastic game on it's own though.
Skyrim
Minecraft
Skyrim is much better. Minecraft on console, especially PS3 and Xbox 360 is a waste of time. It is far too limited in terms of in game content compared to PC and current gen versions (PC is the ideal.) Skyrim is amazing. One of the best games available for PS3. It doesn't have any real mature content and it has minimal possible grind. Load times is a ***** on console although installing to the HDD makes it fast enough to be bareable.
Unless youre 8 and don't know what a good game is, id get skyrim.
Skyrim.
Skyrim has no grinding whatsoever. There's no need for grinding even if you had to, (pretty much All enemies get stronger).
Plus you can get plenty of game time. I got 280h on ONE save. Then the loading screens became unbearable and I started a new save.
