I started my world before tu14 and I just watched a video on youtube of this guys world that he started before tu14 and he has all the new blocks so I was wondering if anyone knows how to update your previously made worlds to the most recent version?

You can't update worlds to the newest version. He either had some un-explored terrain and explored it after the update, or made the new blocks from stuff he already had.
