Is the Playstation Network down right now?

I can't play online.

I bought the PS4 less than 2 weeks ago and this is the second time the Network has been down.

Multiple player says Need to have Playstation Plus account to play online…
Restart the Machine and says PS4 network Maintence

Psn is up and running, the only issue is with minecraft ps4 which is having issues with too many people trying to download and update the game at once
reboot your router and try connecting again, you might just have had a temporary glitch caused by too many users downloading minecraft

edit, here is a link you can use anytime, it shows psn status which currently shows as online, any issues are shown in red when they are happening
