Is minecraft availabe for PS3?

Minecraft is only avaliable for the PC, xbox, and android and iOS devices for the moment, however mojang has confirmed that they are going to make minecraft for the ps3, ps4, and ps vita

It will be soon, most likely before christmas. The whole dec. 31 thing is not the actual date, its just a place holder saying the game will launch before 2014. Remember when they said ps4 games would release dec. 31 & games would be 100$(also a placeholder but wasn't true)
Minecraft: playstation 3 edition is still being bug fixed and the list is getting shorter but not yet done.
so the answer is no but you will see it soon.
