I have a Netgear D6300 that I brought about a month ago and whenever I FaceTime or Skype call my friends it cuts out at exactly 5 minutes. I play PS3 and use this FaceTime in my shed about 20 meters away from the modem my ps3 also signs out especially when playing games like GTA V and Minecraft.

You are a LONG way from the router. Continuous packet errors can easily cause wireless to drop regularly.
