How to play multilayer on minecraft 1.7.9 to play with someone on ps3?

I just recently bought the computer minecraft 1.7.9 server. My sister just got minecraft on the ps3 she plays offline. Can anyone tell me how we can play together. Also can anyone tell me how I can play with someone on a older minecraft like 1.6. Or wutever. Please tell me I'm lonely on minecraft and I only have my sister.
