Lately i have been suffering from mic issues in my PS3 headset (4Gamers CP-PRO) in the last 5 days. I played with my friend once and messaged him if he could hear me, his reply was no. After finishing that game (Minecraft), I went back to my setting to check on the mic and surprisingly, EVERYTHING WAS ALRIGHT! The mic was working fine in the settings but not at all in-game.So, back to the point, i'm asking you guys a way to find if the mic is working or not (or else my friend will get annoyed with the messages)

What usually happens is when you disconnect the mic suddenly and connect it back it won't work. It happens to me, either that or it's not connected correctly.

Just test the mic, go into the ps3 settings and click on accessory settings > audio device settings
With the headset on say something, if your headset settings are the same as before you'll hear yourself on your tv if the mic works
