If you mean data usage here's the deal, if you need to ask then you really need to either not play any games online or get a better internet package with unlimited usage like most people do
it costs more but its worth it to never have to worry do I have enough data left to play online for a day or can I download this game and not get overage fees
Myself I pay $79 a month for internet but if I want to download 500GB of games in a month and play online every day I can and never have to think about the data used or how big a file is
on average a game like call of duty uses 200MB an hour to upload and download packet files so the other players know what you character is doing and you know what they are doing, its not much at all, about as much as a couple of songs streamed use or as much as you'd use to stream a TV show from netflix
