How does GameStop trade games?

Right now I want to get rid of my L.A Noire game and I want to get Mincraft PlayStation 3 Edition. Would L.A Noire be enough to trade or do I have to thrown in some bucks?

This is how I normally look at that when I decide to whether to sell my games. Look up the game on amazon and see how much a new version goes for. Take that price and divide it in half because your game is used. Then because you are selling it to gamestop take off another half because they are cheap. Finally take that price and multiply it by 1.50 for trade in value and that will show on average how much you can trade it in for.

LA Noire
$10.00 / 2 = $5.00
$5.00 / 2 = $2.50
$2.50 * 1.50 = $3.75.

Minecraft is probably around $10.00 or more at gamestop so I wouldn't recommend trading in your game.

Trade in value at gamestop is +50% to the selling value btw

I would NEVER trade a game in at Gamestop. You won't get even close to 3.75 for LA NOIRE. Do yourself a favor and if you really want to get rid of it sell it on Ebay or Craigslist or something like that. If you do it on Ebay you can sell Noire and then with that money help pay for Minecraft. Selling games to Gamestop is just stupid
