I'm planning to build a raspberry PI Minecraft server but i only use minecraft ps3 edition and so does my cousin and i want to share the world with him but can i connect to minecraft servers on the ps3 or would i be waisting my time. I tied googlng it but as usual i get no helpfull results just youtube videos that are ten minutes long just stearing at the minecraft start screen nothing else. Can you help me it would be a fun project and it would make my cousin happy.

Minecraft doesn't have servers on console editions, such as the Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, or Xbox One.
In order to find people to play with on PS3, you need to go to the Minecraft "Looking for players" forums, and either post your PSN ID or find people who have posted theirs, and add them.
I can't remember if PS3 allows 4 players or 8 players, but that would be the maximum.
