My minecraft pocket edition won't work at all?

If I have Wi-Fi on it won't let me press play, but when I turn off Wi-Fi it will sometimes work but not all of the time?

I want to connect with my friends but it won't let me play with Wi-Fi at all?

any suggestions?

Uninstall it and reinstall it. There might of been a glitch.

Close the Application entirely. Then turn off your device for a few minutes. Turn it on and then open the app. If it still doesn't work, try fixing your Wi-Fi. If that doesn't work, try uninstalling it. Then reinstall it again.
